Introduce your kids to the fascinating world of art with the Private Getty Center 1-Hour Tour for Kids Ages 6-12. This engaging experience focuses on helping children learn how to look at art critically—what to notice and how to interpret different works. Using visual and tactile aids, kids participate actively in exploring techniques, artistic processes, and the stories behind the art pieces.
While children are immersed in this creative journey, adult chaperones will also enjoy the tour, making it a fun shared experience. After the tour, everyone will be amazed by the discoveries made together. Each child receives an “Art Appreciation Badge” as a keepsake of their artistic adventure.
If you’re planning a visit outside the listed times or have a group larger than six, just ask! We can accommodate up to 35 people, and prices are available upon request. Note that this tour is recommended for children ages 6-12; younger kids should be in a stroller if they join.
